Week of October 5, 2014
It has been an exciting time at the Superhero Academy! On Monday evening, those in attendance participated in another Shamanic Journey. The first journey (two weeks ago), was to meet their Power Animal. This week’s journey was to learn from their Power Animal, what their unique Superpowers might be. Through the language of symbolism, Spirit spoke powerfully to those in attendance, opening the door to continued exploration of the unfolding Superpowers. The journeys were unique to each individual and provided exactly what they needed at this stage in their journeys. As the facilitator, I am continually amazed at how even though we might go into the journey thinking we know what we want, Spirit always gives us only what we need.
On Tuesday, we launched another Superhero Academy opportunity for those who are home during the day (retired, stay at home parents, second and third shift workers, etc). Children who are home with parents during the day, are WELCOME! Interestingly, those coming together for the Tuesday group seem to have a different set of needs than Monday evening’s group. In short, this group seems ready to be mobilized….to immediately be of service to the betterment of the world and looking for a supportive community out of which they may be of service. So far, this is a group of men and women who know themselves, who know their gifts, and who have diligently attended to their own personal, psycho-spiritual development. Apparently my role in this group is to “teach (and support) the teachers.”
I am humbled and honored to be the vessel through which the Superhero Academy is taking shape. I’m not sure where this is all leading, but it feels as if something powerful is in the works. When you have a gathering of individuals who are passionate about their own personal growth and equally passionate about being a source of healing and change in the world, great things are bound to happen! Up…Up….and Away!!!!!
