  1. Hi, Lauri!

Duly clicked, read, and loved. “Marcia Brady Is the Devil” may be the most hilarious and inspired subhead ever. The irony is (maybe this is just my white middle-class manness coming out again) I had no idea this was an issue. Quite the opposite: I think curly hair on women is drop-dead gorgeous. (Curly hair on men gives me a flashback to a college acquaintance who got an unfortunate perm and—ooh, shiver, never mind.)

I hope you get your thousand clicks. I subscribe to (though rarely have the chance to read) Elephant Journal; maybe if you’re in it I’ll read it more!

    1. John,
Thank you for the laugh out loud!!!! 🙂 Sadly, torturing ourselves and each other over our hair is just one among many things we dumb girls do to each other, most likely out of some misguided competition over dumb boys. 😉 Men, on the other hand, just beat each other up. Not sure which is worse. 😉
