NO DOUBT!

Thomas, called Didymus, one of the Twelve,
was not with them when Jesus came.
So the other disciples said to him, “We have seen the Lord.”
But he said to them,
“Unless I see the mark of the nails in his hands
and put my finger into the nailmarks
and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.”

John 20

As much as we would like to deny it, we all carry a little (or a lot) of Doubting Thomas within us.  Like Thomas, we struggle to believe or have faith in that which we cannot see, touch, taste, or feel.  Unfortunately, the spiritual journey is based on very little, if any, physical evidence.  Accepting the journey toward self-fulfillment and authentic freedom requires us to believe in things we cannot see – peace, compassion, joy, a Divine Source, truth, inspiration, wisdom, understanding.  All of these are interior qualities that we cannot know with our mind or see with our eyes, but can only experience in the deepest places within.  Those who are successful in the journey toward accepting heaven on earth are those who have believed but not seen:

Jesus said to him, “Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed.”

What is the leap of faith in things unseen that you are being invited to embrace at this place in your journey?  A God who loves you?  The truth of abundance?  That you are uniquely gifted and called to share these gifts in the world?  That with God, all things are possible?  That you are no alone?  That you do have access and knowledge of God’s truth?  What is the NO DOUBT you are being invited to take today in your own journey toward peace, compassion and joy?
